Tassels have been used as adornments dating as early as 330AD during the Byzantine Empire! I remember always loving tassels and running my fingers thru the long tactile strands. Use a combination of right angle weave, peyote and herringbone to create an intricatly layered tassel cone packed with shimmering crystals and pearls. The detailed slider beads in the necklace add texture and interest that hug the herringbone straps and also work to make the necklace adjustable so the tassel always sits in just the right spot for any outfit. The details in the herringbone straps have structured ends to make a fluid transitions into the pearls and tassels. This project is advanced and a strong knowledge of right angle weave is recommended.
